Looking for a wireless headset/mic for PC

I'm looking to use it with a webcam. All I can find are the ugly wired headphones for PC's. The built-in mics on webcams cause lots of feedback, which is why I'm looking for a headset. Anyone know of any? I've looked all over and can only find them available for cell phones, unless there is a way of using a bluetooth headset for a cellphone with a bluetooth capable computer. Are there PCI/USB bluetooth radios available for this purpose, or does it have to be built into the motherboard?

Yep

Not sure about the headset though. I imagine you could use any one, finding the software might be a bit harder. Don't most of those phones use bastardized version of Java anyways?

There are also pci and mini pci versions avalable. Some even have 802.11 networking. Also you could buy a (Logitech) wireless bluetooth mouse and use the blue tooth adapter that comes with it as your microphone reciever.

Bluetooth USB and similar products. There are a few versions of Bluetooth so look for version 2.0 or newer.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi...&N=0&minPrice=&maxPrice=&Go.x=0&Go.y=0

Also you can use a PCMCIA Card with a PCI Adapter

PCMCIA Bluetooth Card

Here is one with an Antenna for better data transmissons

Personaly I like the PCMCIA approach since it allows you to use other notebook cards like modems, ethernet, toshiba pcmcia hard drives, wifi, Sound, USB, 1394, SCSI, etc. in one pci slot.

The best bang for the buck is a Bluetooth Mouse from Logitech

As far as I know a Bluetooth Phone Headset should work with a PC. Bluetooth is just like 1394 in the fact that it can operate point to point with out the need for drivers or host PC. Any bluetooth device can talk to another bluetooth device.

Example BMW 750 With Bluetooth can talk to a PDA, Wireless Headset, or PC.

Thanks. But most Bluetooth head sets are designed for cell phones which you are right can also work with a PC. But have you seen a bluetooth headset (with two ear sets and mic boom)? That's what I'm looking for. Most of them are single ear with a mic boom. I guess worse thing is just to buy a singe ear head set with a mic boom.

These are 2.4Ghz wireless, stereo, with a detachable boom mic. Range is ALOT farther than a typical Bluetooth... I used them at a 200 man Lan party and was able to easily go 200+ feet away from my machine and still be able to chat in Teamspeak just fine. Kinda cool. :)
