saw an ad in futureshop selling "I/O Magic USB PC Web Camera" resolution 100k pixel...

is it reasonable? i am not talking about those digital camera cost over $400 quality.
but at least clear or may be i call it sharp...?

the use of the camera is to rec some clips and send them to my parents.
sound rec is not necessary.

can u please gimme advice on the camera, ? at least what detail should i look for?

yeah, try a google search with the model name & reviews

never heard of that camera....there's several entry line webcams (that's what they're called)...but the resolution leaves little to be desired.

Most of them will create basic still shots or small movies w/out a problem though.

i might suggest the quickcam express as a decent entry level webcam (by logitech)

if you want to put a little more money down , though, you can get some nicer webcams...as was suggested above, look for webcam reviews at some of those links.

hmm,
i can't tell which one is good even i have their specs..

1. Logitech Express
2. Logitech QuickCam
3. Logitech 3000 Pro

i don't know the difference btwn them... i can only tell by the price... 3000 pro is most pricely, but what is so good about this cam where express doesn't have?

quickcam express is super cheap, but useable (though a little grainy)...i have 2 of 'em

3000 pro is what i have as my main webcam, works GREAT, and looks really good

quickcam must be middle of line...don't know much about it though
