you gotta be realistic here, you don't want to spend a lot, and you want a nice watch. you gotta relax one of those requirements if you wanna get a watch at all. at that price you can either get a functional, not too fancy-looking watch (e.g. timex), or maybe a knockoff nice-looking watch that's pure crap inside. that's unless you happen to find a kick ass deal on ebay or something.

you probably can, but those will probably fade in color after a month, and then break after another. not worth the investment.

China town or Wal-mart, you'll have no problem getting a watch there for $25.

That or you think of a watch as how I see it: something "sentimental". It goes everywhere you go (hope it's water resistant), "sees", "hears" and "smells" everything you do. It's there when the shit hits the fan and it's there when something important happens. So buy it like you're buying a new best friend...

Fixed!

And Timex is about the best you'll be able to do for $25 ... if you want a chrono it'll be made of plastic but will be fairly accurate ... any Ironman should do the job.

I buy $20+/- watchs to use when I don't want to risk damage to anything nice.

ummm how about saving the money and buying this watch and let it last you years instead of wasting money on junk?

I have a Timex Iron-man I paid less then $20 for thats 15+ years old & still running on its second battery ... in that time I've been through several much more expensive watchs.

It may be ugly & cheesy, but junk? Depends on how you define junk I guess.

You can get a pretty nice Seiko quartz chrono for about $100 on forums like timezone.com, pmwf.com, and about the same for a nice seiko mechanical.

The Breitling on the other hand is about 100x more than you want to spend...

I just go to Target or KMart and look at their cheapo watch spindle things. I never pay more than $15 or so for a watch.
