I am looking for a digital watch that has a built in USB drive. I would also like for it to have a metal band if possible. Does anyone know of one. All I can find are analog ones.

not worth it
drive capacity increases so quickly its easier and less dorky just to get a pen drive

I think a techie is suspect if s/he wears and analog dial watch - except perhaps if it is a Citizen Eco Drive. And here is one similar to the one at the dealtime link above - on special today for $45.00 +sh. at http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=AD668&cpc=SCH

I agree with those who say that thumbdrives + a watch are the better deal, but these watches need the storage for some of the other functions, not just file storage. But you can use the space for just data files if you want.

Except with a metal band and a digital face. Is that right?

Yeap. I could live without the metal band I guess, but I really want a digital one.

I did run across some of the full screen watches and I may just get one of them. I just don't need all of that functionality. The reason for getting a watch with built in USB is because I don't need much storage (1gig would be more than enough) and I don't want to keep anything else in my pocket (ie. the usb drive). Also my watch is basically part of me. It only comes off when I shower. So I will always have the the drive on me if I need it.

One other think I noticed is that some of these watches seem to use a small head phone jack to USB adapter. The point is to not carry anything else around, so the watch must have a real usb connection on it and not use a special cable.

So, I am still looking for a basic digital usb watch.

Noticed something I really don't like about the full screen watches. It looks like you have to charge them like a cell phone. I don't really want to have to remember to charge my watch. Anyone know how long the charge lasts if you don't play movies or listen to music on them.

Well after spending a few more days looking, I don't think anyone makes just a plain digital usb watch.
