Looking for a UPS

When my pc is on and running and another appliance, like a dehumidifier turns on my monitor begins to shake slightly. I was thinking I need a device to condition the electricity? I dont want to spend a ton of money, but I do want to solve the problem. What would you reccomend?

Thanks much

Halve

If you are looking for a UPS, try Hot Deals forum - there is a current good deal. Also, if you are looking to save money, 2 UPSs - one for the monitor and one for the computer - is sometimes cheaper than 1 big one.

Make sure to get a Line-Interactive UPS. It will condition the power. Cheaper Standby units do not condition the power as well (they are either on battery or on AC). I recommend you get an APC Back-UPS Pro. I would get a 500VA or bigger model.
