Looking for a universal battery charger

Does such an item exist? If so, are they any good? I have different phones with different batteries and want one device to charge them all.
 
You want a device that will charge various phone batteries while outside the phones? If so, that's not very likely.

However, almost all non-Apple phones use the same mini USB plug so any charger that uses that plug will work to charge the batteries while they are inside the phones.

The first one you linked to is what I'm looking for. I have 4 phones in the house and space is getting limited on the power strip for all these electronic devices.
