Looking for a 'source-code friendly' blog site

I would like to start a blog of the project I'm working on including posting many snippets of scripts and python code which means preserving the formatting (especially with python, as indents control flow).

I really like blogger.com, but I'm having two problems with it -- 1) it mangles source code, 2) if I use html tags like '< pre >', the lines extend outside the post box.

Does anyone know of a blogger that let's you post formatted source code?

I thought that with blogger you could edit your template. Maybe some hacking will fix things?

I just fired up Wordpress and it can change template and themes with a click.

I just downloaded a Slash-Dot look alike.
