I have a Cherry M5450. It's better than the Logitech mice that had left mouse keys that kept dying.

Logitech M100 - dead
G100 - dead
SBF-96 - dead
LX3 #3 - dead
LX3 #2 - dead
LX3 #1 - dead (The LX3 is a nice mouse, except for the dead mouse button)

I got some cheapo mice in my boxes of computer parts just "in case" I need them. You know, corded with the ball. The old cordless ball mice were >$5 and I never use them.

However, I love my wireless mice. I have a Logitech Cordless Mouseman mouse that's got to be 15 years old. Still works great. Just stopped using it since upgrading to the MX Master last year. The problem with the old one is that it ate batteries; at least two AA alkaline every couple of weeks for those 15 years.

The new MX Master is rechargeable with micro-USB. It's just the inconvenience of having it stop working in the middle of something you are working on.

I use a Logitech V220 notebook wireless mouse in case I need to work on a client's PC or for temp when the MX Master is being charged up. The V220 was under $20 with a rebate when I bought it.
