I've looked at the pictures of the SLK3700BQE on newegg. Looks promising. Question: Is there room in front of the drive cage for a second fan? 120mm?

TIA,

Answer: Yes, there is room for a second 120mm fan.

See page #2 ----->Here :)

Cool :D review. It also says (about the front), "There is only enough clearance to mount a 25mm thick fan here, a 38mm fan (such as the Panaflo 120L1A) will not fit."

That pretty well elliminates the obvious choices. Anybody know where I can find a quiet 120x25? Most sites (Newegg) don't list the fan thickness. Any leads (2, 3 or 4 :eek: ) appreciated.

Scroll bown here and look at the JMC FAN: FAN-J120L-2/4 at coolcases.com. Here is a pic of it--->Pic

I believe that fan is 120mm x 25mm. I have used it in the Chenbro PC-610 case also.

Keep in mind you have to still keep the case cool. Find the right balance of noise and cfm. Wouldnt be good to have a quiet case that is hot.

Thanks for the link to SilentX.

I have a BQE and with an simple agp card in it with no fan, it was so quiet I could hear the next door neighbours a/c. Now with a 9800pro the PS is constantly past idling and is what I would consider loud. I could be way off and the noise is the 9800pro fan, but the noise seems to be the PS.
