I've built a system in a IBM slim Netvista case (images.bargainland.net/a01/095.jpg). There's a problem with the 5.25" bay- if you put a full-length drive in it, you can't plug motherboard power in. One person using a different motherboard pulled it off with a Sony DDU1621, but I'm not sure if that will work in my case. Does anyone know if there are other shortened 5.25" bay devices? It doesn't have to be optical, not that there's much else out there. I could always do a baybus or a card reader, but I'd really like optical if I can. Thanks!

I've noticed that my Sony DRU-710A DVD burner is a good 1.5-2" shorter than my last optical drive.
Leaves a lot more space and airflow room in my SN41G2.
