Looking for a s771 + SLI mainboard

A while back I did some research on if there were any dual S771 mainboards that supported SLI and i found a few, mainly from supermicro, but remember doing this research was hard because none of these mainboards specifically said they supported SLI. I found that I had to find a forum post with somebody that was actually running the mainboard in SLI, which can be unreliable.

The story is I have an extra NIB E5420 cpu that is collecting dust because my proliant dl360 g5 wouldnt take it (older mainboard that takes the 50 and 51 series, not 53 or 54 series.) So I am debating to finally upgrade my gaming rig (xeon thats close to the original conroe processors, forget which one)

So does anybody know some good lower end S771 mainboards with at least 2 x16 PCI-E 2.0 electrical slots and being able to run SLI? Im not looking to get a skulltrail because it looks like you are paying $200 more because its a 'desktop' rather than 'server' board.

So far ive looked at the Asus DSEB-DG and TYAN S5396A2NRF but cant find much info to see if they would work.

The kind of hardware that ill be running would be 1-2 E5420s, a fistfull of fbdimms, a single gtx275 at first then a 2nd later, and a pci-e soundcard. Ill be reusing my current case which is a 4u rackmount case, it should have enough room.

So does anybody have any ideas? Maybe an openbox or used skulltrail will work, but its more the specs (or lack thereof) that are a stumbling factor and why i am posting today.

Unless you find an nVidia chipset for 771 (I don't think there are any?), you're pretty much out of luck. They just started to certify boards that don't include the nf200 chip or aren't a nvidia made chipset - they've only really done this for X58 & P55.

Even if there are 2x16 PCI-E slots, the drivers won't allow you to turn on SLI.

Only s771 board with SLI is going to be skulltrail. Nothing else pre-X58 and non-nVidia is going to support SLI.

So there arnt any nvidia chipset based s771 boards out there? If there is then does somebody have a model number?

I guess I either have a choice to sell my cpu or to buy a different mainboard to pop into my proliant to take this processor.
