Looking for a RPG to play.

Hi,

I'm looking at EBworld.com right now and went to the RPG list and i was just wondering what your favorite ones to play are? I want something with amazing graphics and game play.

It's sort of hard to make an RPG with "amazing graphics and great gameplay" and still have enough time, money and energy left to make a decent RPG with a good backbone/story line.

POR2 Uses the 3rd Edition DnD rules, while BG2 uses the 2nd Edition rules.

I've never played it, but others have considered Deus Ex a role playing game. From what I've seen, the graphics are pretty good.

What type of RPG ? If you want like an AD&D type thing then I strongly, strongly suggest Baldur's Gate II, it has an amazing plot, great characters, and excellent graphics. It's hands down one of the best games I've played... also helps if you've played BG I of course. If you're more a first person shooter type, then Deus Ex or System Shock 2... both great stories and tons of action.

I will not play another RPG since Baldur's gate dominated my life...w00t but anyway that will all change when NeverWinter Nights comes out....omg...Bioware did a demo of it at a LAN I was at and OMG...
