warranty information

I filled out their RMA form and I even checked the box "Do you have proof of purchase" as no yet they still approved it for some reason . I bought it from Best Buy originally when they had a package deal with the gf4 and a stick of 128mb SDRAM a while back. Can anyone help me?

Anyways, the video card just died out of the blue, no overclocking or anything

Where'd you buy it? The store might be able to print out a duplicate receipt for you.

Telephone or email them personally. Tell them you are Mr (insert name here) from (invent company name here) Services, INC. Tell them that you have one of their cards in the office, and that it puked out. Tell them that the girl who handles the purchases and such for the company has been let go for not doing her job, and it is all such a mess in that dept. you have no idea if/when you can find the receipt.

If they say... no recpt, no replacement... tell them fine, your company is in the process of overhauling the computers for the entire company and not only will you buy from their competetors, you will also tell everyone you know.. personally and professionally, they kind of copany they are and how they will not stand behind their products.

They will replace the card.

I hate when companies want you to buy their stuff and tout a lifetime warranty, then expect you to keep the receipt for years. Either they will stand by their products, or they wont. I went thru this with... Western Digital, Kingston and Xtasy Video Card in teh last three years and on each time I used the above scenerio I got a full replace immediately.

:)

You might also want to try in FS/FT. I think I might have the receipt at home, I'll have to check later though.
