I need a wireless keyboard and mouse that use the same dongle and recharge through USB. Requiring AA batteries is an absolute dealbreaker. Does anything like this exist?

The Corsair K63 Wireless has a built in rechargeable battery that recharges via USB, you can pair it with a Corsair Dark Core mouse which also has a built in battery and can recharge via USB or QI wireless charger, they both work via Bluetooth so will use the same dongle.

I have to ask though, why would you want a built in battery instead of AA? With AA you can get some Enloops and just swap them out easy and always have a charge ready. What use case do you have that would make built in better?

I need them to use a regular RF dongle so I can use them with systems that don't have Bluetooth.

That's another thing to buy and keep track of, more steps to charge, more storage space to use, and another electrical outlet I don't have to spare.

They are both capable of 2.4ghz RF as well. I just don't know if they will both use the same dongle or not.

Okay, you should read up on the Corsair's they seem to be what you want, you just need to read up on the website to see if they can share the dongle.
