The Dominator line seems like more of a gimmick to me, though the fact that they are probably higher binned ICs is always a plus. I know the top-end Dominators are awesome overclockers, but what are your feelings about this pair?
The reason I ask is the special combo deal with the 680i board. Saving $20 is never a bad thing. These will be paired with the 680i, and an E6600. My focus will be gaming performance and overclocking.
If I don't go with these, I'll probably shell out a big extra for something that is known to be a good overclocker.
So what's the verdict?
