Looking for a Quadro FX card

I was wondering if i can use a quadro FX 1700 on this motherboard. I am a film student and i usually use Avid and Premier. However, I have started using Maya since a week and I was thinking of switching to a quadro based card. I wanted to know if the motherboard has to be of any different variety than a regular one?

Any help would be appreciated ......
