H helppls Senior member Jun 19, 2001 216 0 76 Jan 27, 2004 #2 nmap is hands down the best if it seems needlessly complicated for what you want to do, try a website's portscanner (many of them actually use nmap server-side) http://www.linux-sec.net/Audit/nmap.test.gwif.html (go to www.whatismyip.com first to check your ip) http://www.computercops.biz/modules.php?name=TCP_Scanner (you have to sign up for a free account first) http://scan.sygate.com/ (simple)
