I need a case that is spacious, is quiet and looks good (either in silver or black). I saw the review for the temji 5 and the thermal take tsunami and while they look beautiful, they are too loud for my taste (just as loud as mine is!) So I'm looking for case that will be spacious enough to be able to work in easily, cool the case sufficiently and is relatively quiet (uses 120MM fans instead..)

the only reason i can think of not getting that case is if it is too expensive.

hey, is it possible/a good idea if I were to take a either thermal take/temnji case and replace the fans with quieter ones?

Yep you could do that too. OR set up a fan controller to bring down the volume of the fans they got.

Yup, a fan controller would be good. The very nice CoolerMaster Aerogate 1 can be had for $5.00+sh/tx from SVC.com. See my review of it Here. And there are plenty that are more sophisticated for how ever much you care to pay.

The Antec 3700-BQE, P180 and Sonata II look to be your best solutions. I would also check the CM Stacker and the Centurion 5.

If you have money, the Lian Li cases with the covers on them (I think the V1100 series) are very quiet, and they use 120mm fans. Otherwise Antec Sonatas are very quiet. Keep in mind though that these cases don't cool very well, just very quiet.

The CM Stacker can be very loud or very quiet, depending on how you have it set up.
