That's a very popular band?

I loved that album, and Chemical Brothers were at the top of the techno peak. Even MTV had a show called Amped that only played techno. A lot of good techno in that time, Moby, Chemical Brothers, Orbital, Propellerheads, Prodigy, Fatboy slim, Faithless, Underworld, even David Bowie andMadonna had a techno albums that I liked.

Flame on for my love of Moby everyone.

90's EUROPEAN techno, dance, house etc. music and scene was absolutely awesome.
On European MTV/Viva, about 80% techno, dance and the rest alternative rock.
US was entirely different in terms of music, there it was mostly hip hop, R&B, rock that sort of stuff. (Before it ALL turned to shit :) So no wonder some don't know the Chemical Brothers. Still I wouldn't call them "super popular", maybe "quite popular", at least in UK and the rest of Europe.

Block Rocking Beats & Setting Sun got a lot of play. Maybe you were just under a rock that year?

I was quite young, so plenty of stuff would have passed me by if it was only popular during those years and didn't stick around.
