No thats too complex. No threads. Polls and commentary below each pole. Anyone can vote in the poles. you have to log in to create polls and/or post commentary.

Do you have any sort of content management system or framework that the polls would go into? For instance, I see the site you link in your sig has Joomla. Here's some polls for Joomla.
