School is about two weeks away and I am still looking for a laptop. For some reason, I really like Gateway, really. My eye has been on the Gateway 7215gx. What do you guys think of this model and about Gateway in general? This lappy also has a ATI IGP 320M Graphics with 64 MB of shared video memory, is that good for some light gaming? I use my desktop for all my gaming, but will this do some light gaming or not at all? Please help me out. I dont know a great deal about laptops and any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, the most important question, WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK OF GATEWAY?? BETTER THEN DELL, THE SAME, OR WORSE??

If you think light gaming involves any 3D game made in the past two (maybe three) years, forget about anything with shared-memory video (including the IGP 320M, Intel Extreme Graphics, and so on). It'll look ugly and run slowly. In a few cases - Star Wars Battlefront is one - it won't run at all.

And as Jassi suggested, you have to ask yourself what you can afford and what how portable it needs to be.
