Looking for a non-off brand keychain thumb drive - suggestions?

I use an old Jump-drive where the cap/socket is on the key chain and the drive slips in and out so you don't have to hang all your keys to use it. Unfortunately, they discontinued that line and now all seem to link to the key chain/ring.

Looks like current fashion is for the drive itself to be fastened to the keychain - I don't like that. OTOH, if I had to replace my Lexars, I would probably go with San Disk Cruzers.
 
I have neat little cord one that attaches with a screw swivel, but it's wearing out and I can't find any like it. I use external hubs on my desks in the vast majority of cases so the keys aren't as big an issue to me, I just don't want to lose the drive. 😀

Those Kingston's work great. I have a few of them at work and they are almost indestructible. Solid piece of metal that loops nicely onto a key ring. The Samsung's are solid too but more bulky as you noted.
 
I've got both and have had good luck with both. I think my Kingstons are USB 2 (older) and my Sammy is USB 3 (newer). I linked a USB 3 Kingston...
 
I'm surprised there aren't more options out there, you'd think this sort of design would be a no-brainer.

Though I guess if I wore a lanyard every day, still, I'd just use that. 😉
 
All of the choices above are great and I will throw in the Patriot Tab because the shorter length of the metal shroud is more resistant to bending. Its the only drive that hasn't deformed in my pockets.
