I want a brand new spread for a king sized-bed, so I'll need all the pieces. Any suggestions would be welcome. I have sh1tty sheets and a crappy comforter right now. EVEN suggestions on sheet materials would be great as I have NO idea where to start.

I'm willing to spend no more than $600 for the whole set, and less is always better.

i just got some 800 thread count king sized sheets from amazon for 50 bucks last week

i got my comforter at ikea for 100 bucks
 
egyptian cotton (if well made) is great, but it will likely cost more

don't get fooled by obnoxiously high thread counts, get a 400+ thread count from a good manufacturer

i recently got these - they're nice, but not as nice as the hotel living 500 thread count set i got from linens and things (for about 50 bucks more)

either way, get a set, preferably one that comes with a duvet (the cover for your comforter)
