So I work at a job where sometimes for hours I have nothing to do. I recently got a 32gb Itouch. The thing is I'm very picky about the shows I watch. I can use some advice. The shows I watch currently are:

House
South Park
The Office
Curb your enthusiasm (finished)

I watched prison break until the end of the second season, where I felt they are just prolonging the show just for money.

I'm mostly interested in a good comedy. Any suggestions?

When you say new do you mean new to you or recently aired? If the former, off the top of my head there is Futurama, 30 Rock, and of course Arrested Development.

I am watching Lie to Me on Netflix.
Not great, but not horrible either. Most of the guest stars exhibit the same hammy overacted that was common on 80's dramas. But its still a fun show.

I second Arrested Development. Check out Modern Family, I've been watching it lately and it's great.

Personally I really like the show community. If you like joel mchales humor at all you'll like the show.

Peep Show is, quite probably, the best TV show ever in the history of humans.

The Wire, The Shield, Madmen, Entourage

Nip/Tuck, Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice aren't bad either. But only after you've watched the above.

I've had a hard time finding a good comedy too. The closest thing to a good comedy I can think of is Chuck. (Closest because it has drama elements too.)

But if you think The Office is a good comedy then I probably can't help you. D:

If you included the previous runs of Doctor Who, you could be at that for a LOOOOOONNNG time. Ask me how I know...

Maybe you could try some Farscape?

I just started watching "My Name is Earl" on Netflix streaming and I think it is great. You might want to check that out. I would also throw in "Torchwood," "Firefly," and the BBC comedy "Coupling."

If you like British Humor, there's Monty Python.

Or more recent:
Spaced
Green Wing
and of course, Top Gear
