I have a 17" ViewSonic, the a70. I plan on giving it to my wife since hers is about to go out. And I will get me a new one( as it should be).
Now I want a great monitor 17 or 19 that will be great for games. Any suggestions. I Have around 400 clams to spend. I would rather have quality than size if it comes to that. thanks for yalls help.....

I got the LG 915FT recently and it has been great. One of the best pictures I've seen on a 19", has built in USB hub which comes in handy too. Very happy with it

If you run games at 1280x1024, the Samsung 760V TFT has an excellent pixel refresh rate and very vivid colors. And it's 17.3" of flat-panel goodness. :)

I just got the new sony 440 from compUSA for 399 and it is great. I use the NEC 950+ at work and like my sony more.

<< Samsung 955DFX all the way. >>

Whats the difference between that and the S955DF?

Another vote for the Samsungs. Great monitors for the price. Save the money and upgrade a different part of your computer. :)

I got the LG 915 FT+ as well. Had it for 2 months and it is awesome. Not a lot of talk about a professional level monitor. 900NF from Samsung is also no slug.
