Acura TL
Caddilac CTS
Infiiniti G35
Lexus IS300
Nissan Maxima
Accord Hybrid (32 mpg with 240 hp is VERY ENTICING)

What do you guys think?

What do I think? I think all those cars suck. Why is 30,000 the baseline? You can get a good car for less than 30,000.

all those suck? LOL

Hey, he asked for opinions, k.

If those suck, lets see your list of something better?

Leme guess

WRX
STI
EVO
CIVIC
ACCORD

....or some retarded coupe?

look above your post. WTF do you care what kinds of cars I like?

Factored into any decision on what is best, is personal taste. Just because you think those are excellent cars, then so be it, but don't knock me because I don't , clown. BTW, I'm 5 if that makes you feel superior.

Now you say what is "best" instead of "they suck" Your original comment was pure ignorance. I don't care if you don't like those cars, I don't care if you think they suck, just stop being such a pompous douche.

Me being a pompous douche? STFU. I'm not the one who gets all annoyed because someone doesn't have the same tastes in cars as you do. The "best" reference was in reply to you claiming they were best, not me, so quit trying to make it into something it never was, DRAMA queen. Go back and reread, instead of replying with ignorance. I did agree with a poster that the Avalon was a good car. Are you going to get your panties in a bunch over that now?

My god you're one dumb muff. I DON'T CARE IF YOU DON'T LIKE THOSE CARS

Clearer? To just post randomly without any thing to back up your comment was just idiotic. I could respect someones opinion if they told me why they thought something sucked.

You think those cars suck b/c?

They're reliable?
Class leading?
Keep decent resale value?
You can't afford one?

But no, they just suck...for no reason.

This is my last post on this subject you ignorant pile of horsesh!t. Its pretty clear my points arn't even registering with you.

I've driven them all. Instead of reading about them in a magazine.

My choice would be the TL.

And it's an easy choice.

Good call!

A V6 accord gets about 20mpg, I would rather a lower end acura than a high end honda. Also I forgot to mention I don't want a sports car like an evo or anything of that nature. Also for altima's, I really don't like the style, the maxima looks much better. Also I want to stay away from european cars (especially VW, my audi experience was terrible). If you give me a few seonds I'm going to add a poll.

Excuse me?

TL - Same mileage, but drinks premium
CTS - Worse, but at least regular
G35 - Worse, premium
IS300 - Worse, premium
Maxima - Same mileage, regular gas

Accord kicks their asses on mileage.

That's your last post because your full of sh!t and retarded. The OP question is opinion based, you dumbfvck. Class leading, reliable, yada yada yada. If you knew how to read and understand sh1t, you'd realize I never made an argument that they were not reliable, did I? What point are you trying to make? That because I don't like the same cars as you do, you have to flame me? Fvck off, a$$hole.

Now I know why you have 12000 posts in 3 years. You probably have to argue with everyone who doesn't share your sh!tty opinion. BTW, you obviously care which cars I like because the fact that I stated my opinion to an opinion based question, got you all riled up and into DRAMA queen mode. Grow up.

E90 BMW 325i. An inline six is better than a v6 any day. Plus RWD. Plus it's a BMW.

Winner! How has this thread gone on for so long with no one bringing up the BMW? Also check the mpg on the BMW since this is a concern:

City/Highway 21/29 mpg

The BMW is down some hp from the 240 mark, however the power is very usable. The straight 6s are awesome engines, very smooth, go test drive one.

Otherwise, I like the TL for the power, and the CTS for the styling.

The hybrid is the way to go, I have one and I love it. 255hp hybrid engine, I average around 34mpg so far, plus I am looking a nice little tax break from the clean fuel tax deduction laws. Trust me, go with the Accord Hybrid, you will be happy you did.

Yes, but consider how much extra you spent over the EX. Granted, with the gas prices rising you'll recoup your initial losses quicker, but it'll still take you many years and hundreds of thousands of miles. :)

Not saying that it's not a sweet car or anything though. Nothing like being able to do a burnout in front of a Greenpeace rally - "It's OK, folks, it's a Hybrid!" :D

CTS is leagues better and a tad bigger than the G35, but it costs more. The CTS base engine at 2.8L is not very good so you would want to move up to the 3.6L.

I would also recommend:
Mazda 6s - 220HP 6spd Automatic trans (same interior size as TL)
Lincoln LS - 232 HP V6 5sp Automatic RWD 280HP V* also available
Volvo S40 T5 - 220HP AWD available
Saab 9-2X
Pontiac G6 GTP - 240HP V6
Altima SE-R

The TL fanboys are hard in this forum, a great FWD car with loads of options: Downside is that they sell close to 100,000 of these cars so you have no individuality.

I don't see how the CTS is leagues better than the G35.
The CTS interior is even worse than the G35, which was getting high criticsm prior to the '05 update.
And the G35 consistently beats the CTS in all car mag comparos, so it must be doing something better than the CTS.

Out of your list, I would go G35 then TL.
Everyone should own a RWD car at some point in their life. Better earlier than later I say.

I love my wife's G35 so I'd definitely recommend it but the Altima SE-R is certainly a car to look at as well.

I bought a Maxima back in March, and I don't regret it at all. I love the car and it has tons of pick-up. It's roomy in the back and it's very comfortable up front. I got it for just under $30k.

The TL is probably your safest buy in the bunch as it will retain its value the best, but if you ask me, it's a pretty bland car. The G35 is okay but I think it drives like ass. I took 3 out on the road before I bought the Maxima, and it felt like I was driving a brick.

What are you talking about, I paid $32,000 for my hybrid. The EX-V6 is about $30,000 for the same options I have, it's also ten less HP. With the savings I will receive in taxes and gas the first year alone will more then make up the $2000 diference.

G35 and IS300 will kill you on insurance.

What a bunch of crock. I pay 1279/yr for 2 cars, a g35 and an old 240sx. I have full coverage on the g35 and liability on the nissan. I even have 2 tickets on my record.

Its not a crock. I just got a G35 and the insurance on it is ridiculous. Its more than my MDX which costs $10K more. When I asked them if they weren't mistaking my car for the coupe, they told me no. It categorized as a high performance vehicle by Infiniti and costs more to insure.
