Looking for a new board

Looking for a new motherboard to take my E6300 to atleast 2.6-3.0ghz what I have atm;

E6300
2x512 PC5400 Corsair XMS2
Acrtic Cooling Freezer Pro 7 /with AS5

Im on a budget of around £50-70 ( $97-$136 ) although I could splash out abit more, but cheaper the better.

Been looking at the Gigabyte GA 965P-S3 anything better than that? is it good?

any help appreciated
 
S3/DS3 seems to be the board most people get when ocing. I just ordered the DS3(rev 3.3 from ClubIT) myself. They are the same except for the solid state capacitors on the DS3, if I was sure the S3's out there were rev. 3.3 I would have gotten the S3.

Some folks have success with ASRock and Biostar too I think.

1 vote for Biostar...very nice board for $110 (@ the Egg). Has some minor layout issues (IDE port, floppy), but yet has some great features...they even integrated Memtest86 into the BIOS.
