I want a case for a new machine build. I'd like it to be full ATX, with the PSU mounted at the top not over the motherboard, but neatly engineered so it's only about 16" high (12" mobo, 3.25" PSU, plus room for the metalwork). I'd like it narrow, about 6.5" wide (5.75" for the PSU and drive bays, plus room for the metalwork). I'd like it shallow, about 15", but if the height and width are right I'll concede the depth.

At this size, there'd be two 5.25" external drive bays (at the top in front of the PSU), two 3.5" external drive bays (under the 5.25" bays and set to the left as you look at the front of the case, internally overlapping the motherboard area slightly), and at least one (preferably more) internal 3.5" drive bays (under the external bays, also internally overlapping the motherboard area slightly). I'd like it to have mounting points fitted for intake and exhaust fans.

So I want a 6.5"x16"x15" case. As a comparison the Enlight 7100 is 8.7"x14.6"x17" and has the PSU over the motherboard not at the top; the Enlight 7230 is 7.7"x16.7"x18.9" but having more 5.25" bays than I need is much deeper than I want, and has no mounting for an exhaust fan at the rear; the Enlight 7650 is 7.6"x16.1"x16.9" so almost the right size, but has the PSU over the motherboard again.

Does anyone know of such a beast? Or do I just have to get handy with a sheet metal folding machine?

Just a quick note. The Enlight 7237-0X3 series does have an exhaust fan at the rear of the case. Enlight has not updated their pages to show it though.

newegg pic of the EN-7237AZ

The AZ series has a 340 watt power supply, the 0X3 has a 300w.

edit/ this really should be in the case and cooling forum.

Antec has a new model out - sx 635 i think. Smaller than the 830, but still a lot of room, & good quality.
