looking for a multiplayer game

Can anyone recommend a multiplayer game that's fun for everyone? Not talking about WoW or CS:S/BF2 type stuff. More like... hmm... I dunno, something I can play with 4-5 other buddies for kicks. Something like Worms, or Starcraft, or WC3. We don't want to invest time into a MMORPG and not all of us like FPS games.

Really? I couldn't get into that game too much. Too much grinding. Not to mention I'm not a fan of hack and slash RPGs anyways. I guess that's why I don't like WoW either. It's still a good game to play with a few buddies though.
