You should get this link

That way you can carry it in your backpack or whatever.

Electric one though because they have them.

You can even convert it to a recumbent for more comfort driving!

Don't worry it still will fit in your backpack fine.

i drive several miles to campus, and just want something i can chain to the bike rack instead of having to park in the commuter lot. i have a bike, but it's too far to bike to class without arriving all tired and sweaty.

This will allow you to do that.

Did you even click the link?

It won't get stolen ever this way. Insurance takes forever.

I was looking for a moped too. It's amazing that they want such high prices on Craigs List. I had a Ciao Vespa that I bought used in 1980 for $300.00. I had it a couple years and then bought a motorcycle.

I'm looking for a moped now and the prices are three times that. They must be cheap somewhere.

There is a distinct difference between a folding bicycle and a moped. See if you can research that.

I've had a folding bicycle before, it was a poor investment. I sold it at a garage sale. If I was going to buy a folding bicycle, I'd buy a DaHon.

you find me a gasoline powered brompton for $300 that i can work on with 2 wrenches and a hammer, that i can leave outside uncovered and not have to worry about, and i will acknowledge that you are all that is man. until then, i'm gonna keep looking for a moped. i think i might run over to the pawn shop one day and take a look. i have looked on craigslist and ebay. craigslist doesn't have many, and people are paying retarded amounts on ebay.

i don't need or even want a nice one. i want an old POS that i don't have to worry about. i want something that's simple enough to work on, and isn't made of all crappy plastic parts. (can't weld things to plastic) ;)

I can understand your point. Nobody would steal a Brompton.

I wouldn't even take a Brompton if it was given to me for free.

all the mopeds i've seen require you to mix gas with oil... not fun. they are also about 25 MPH, tops. you will also need a special license. sure you don't want a real scooter?

Thats because they wouldn't beable to. It would be in your backpack at all times away from their prying handing.

mixing gas and oil is no problem... my senior design project is building a racecar... i can handle it. (if i had more free time, i'd take some 0.090 tube steel and an old bike and make one myself... i'm actually considering doing that this summer, i have some UG models that i've been playing with already)

Between my apartment and campus, the speed limit is 25; also not a problem.

In VA, if the engine displacement is under 50cc, then you need neither a registration nor a license.

My Vespa did 33 MPH with a 190 pound rider. I commuted on it several days a week for 36 miles round trip.
