Looking for a low resource Windows to Linux Remote Access program for Debian "Jessie".
I'm using Teamviewer currently but, it uses too many resources.
I run a small Minecraft server on the linux box I need the ability to use the terminal and transfer files. It would be nice to have a screen access mostly so I can look at the minecraft server window. I would also love the ability to run this so I can log on the linux box remotely without having to go to that machine.

I've looked into SSH but I'm not sure which client would be the best.

Any suggestions would be appreciated,.

Thanks.

You can try VNC. It works from Windows to Linux and vice versa. You must install a server and a client application. It does not offer encryption (the free edition).

Edit. I am seeing now that you cannot transfer files on the free edition.

Putty + Xming can do remote access and X-forwarding pretty well.

WinSCP is pretty solid for transferring files.
