Looking for a local security system

Hi,

I am looking for a local security system - that is, such one that includes sensors on the windows and the doors, and in case of a burglary attempt, a local alarm is operated. No connection to a remote security control system, nor to cellular phone is required. The idea is that the alarm will startle the burglar and make him run away.

Looking for a reliable and relatively low-cost system (In my house there are 8 windows and one door). The system's components must be battery powered, since I don't have electrical outlet near each and every one of my house's windows and door.

Any advice will be gratefully accepted.

You could use something like samsung smart things or another smart system to do the same thing, but simplisafe is probably the simplest / easiest route if you want it to behave like a normal security system.
