I don't recommend the Gateway Profile. It's even more ugly than the iMac and is actually more expensive, way more expensive if you compare the bundled software.
The Profile isn't very thin as it has a deep base for the drives and motherboard. Overall build quality is pretty bad and the software bundle consists of Windows, MS Works 8.0, Adobe Reader, and 90 day and 30 day trials of some antivirus software. The 19" monitor version has only a 1280x1024 display.
If you need a floppy drive then maybe the Profile is right for you. But for most people, you're better off just building a normal PC. Use an LCD monitor and stash the case under the table.
