Looking for a large unlock smart phone for wi-fi use

Hi guys,

I am looking for a large and fast smart phone for browse and do some online trading via home wi-fi. Is there any phone can act like a tablet or laptop use only wi-fi to connect to the internet? The data service in my country are too expensive for the fast service and it is tooooo slow for the 2g service. Which unlock phone is my best choice? something like samsung S3? or similar?

If you're using it wifi only, why not use a Nexus 7?

The original Note is a generation older, with worse performance and battery life but of course a bigger screen. The S3 is probably better in most cases, although the extra half inch on the Note really does make a difference.

The Note 2 is sort of the ideal device for what you're requesting, but it may be too expensive (new, that is -- if you are OK with secondhand, there are a lot of people selling the Note 2 to get the new S4). If you can get the Nexus 4 for cheaper than the S3, look at that too.
