Looking for a Laptop

Well, what i am looking for is something i can game on and use it pretty much for anything else. Music, movies especially and internet of course

So far the best i found that would suit my needs is this http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16834220340

Its Asus, so quality shouldnt be a problem, components are pretty nice. AND it comes with 1 year of free accidental damage, thats a pretty damn good deal if you ask me, it usually costs something like 150$ extra if not more.

Its on sale also, and if i use my newegg preferred account i wont have to pay for 12 months, by the time i hit 12 i should pay it off with no problems.

What do you guys think? or you would recommend something different to me?

isnt that on a 17" LCD? see i need something portable, thats why i want a 15.4 or something in that field

It is a great performing 17" laptop for the money.

I have one and really like it. Excellent performance for everything I need and the price was right. It is a 17" so it may not be the best for portability.

where did you guys get yours? there is one on Best Buy but its used/refurbed

doesnt seem like many companies are selling them, and if they its 1600+ which i wont spend

Got mine new at Bestbuy B&M on sale last month. I just checked and a couple of my local Bestbuys still have them but I can't tell you if they are new or refurb.

google "HP coupons"

try configuring a DV5t (core 2 duo) with the whatever9600 video card.

over $1000 before the automatic reductions they give you and you can enter a 30% off coupon (cancels out the lesser reductions that they already have on the site).

if you already have a desktop and you want portability though, look at 14 inches before deciding on 15 because the 1 inch is a bigger difference than you might think.

Almost the exact same laptop, but with some added features, and it is about $200 more.
