Looking for a knife

Nice knife. I need a new knife and have been looking for one with a window punch as well, this might be it.

There are very few with window punches and this is the pick of the bunch imho. the red hinderer is ok, but I think the extra tools just over complicate things

I know nothing about them.

Looking for something that style (the flip out type).

Something with a 3" or shorter blade.

Just for general use, etc.

EDIT: would like to spend under $25, idk if thats too cheap

Nearest hardware or sports shop will have a selection of similar knifes.

In reality, they are useless knifes.

I agree completely. I like a simple folding knife to carry, and I really love it when I can find one with a window punch. I can't recommend having a window punch on your knife enough, it's just the best little extra feature you can have.

Obviously not...duh.

Keep in mind...the op and 5 of his friends were scared by 2 folks armed only with a baseball bat and beer bottle...having a knife in his hand is only gonna get him killed quicker.

For some folks, flight is the only appropriate response to threats.

You really have to know your stuff to take a knife to a gunfight...and be the only one left standing when it's over.

lawl at Boomer the hardcore e-thug.

Wal-Mart has a handful of those type of knives for your price range.
Kershaw,Schrader, Gerber, etc. are all in that price range and will work well for your needs.

If you want a multi use knife, I'd get a Swiss Army, or some other kind that has more that a blade. I'd expect to pay $50 or more for any knife worth owning.

ill link u to cckrt?9forget the name and its not in my poclket) knife with a saftey and two quick flip out points i love them and own 10 of them at least they are about 25-37$ depending oon size im on cellphone now or id look it up on ebay

How so? I carry a $25 Gerber everyday and it is priceless to me. I probably use my knife 350 days out of the year.

People's minds are blown when they find out I carry a knife everyday as well. Not for self-defense, but because it's so damned handy. There are always things that need to be cut!

$25 won't get you a knife with any worthwhile steel. $50 you can get a nice kershaw blur from Walmart. About 30 might get you about a 2.5" Gerber.

This, look more in the $50 range.

I know people will disagree:

The $1 knives at Walmart. They're actually decent. The design is pretty good, though it is made of crappy steel.

However, for $25 you can get 25 knives.

The one I bought for my g/f lasted a full summer of constant use (we worked at a boy scout camp) and then some. She still has that one and brings it camping.

I handed them out to the boys who completed their Toten Chit under my instruction. As far as I know, only 1 has broken.

EDIT: I personally carry a BenchMade with me everywhere I can.

How can you recommend a $1 knife when you carry a Benchmade?

That's a lock back from what I can tell, have fun closing with two hands.

This knife is incredible. It opens very quickly and is all around the best knife I've ever owned (I've have 15-16 knives, used to sell them in fact).

ok when you buy another knife ya sure there are better more expensive ones but these are what i carry usually i think its the 3.5" versions tho but you said 3"

These are knifes you can not worry about and they are very strong and have extra safety on them. i own about 60 knifes and half of them seem to be CRKT.

ah here is the one i have in each of my cars and carry in pocket
