Looking for a good wireless keyboard and mouse combo for gaming.

I am in need of an upgrade for my 4 year old Logitech wired keyboard and mouse. I am looking for something that will do well in gaming and does not lose connection or pauses when typing. Where do I start?

For gaming I wouldn't recommend wireless keyboard or mouse...

Was looking at mice yesterday and it was between a Microsoft MX3000 wireless and a Logitech 518 unit. Read a few reviews and found that the slight bit of input lag on wireless is annoying enough to keep me buying wired mice for now.

I am using a logitech wireless comfort duo keyboard and it works just fine for gaming. No lag or any of the usual stuff like with ms wireless keyboards plus it's ergonomic shape makes it comfortable to use.

The G7 will do just fine for a mouse, but if you've got the option at all, use a wired keyboard.

Stick away from anything Bluetooth - for whatever reason, pretty much all Bluetooth peripherals have some annoying lag issues if you stop input for a bit.

the only other alternative that i know of is rf, which i believe is too slow and not very accurate with games that require fast movements, such as fps.

The G7 is great. I play in several BF2 competitive leagues and have witness'd no lag. I replaced my MX518 with the G7 as several of my clanmates have also.

Ok u n0ber, Any real competative player would know that a 518 is superior to any wireless mouse, which includes Ur (G)arbage 7.

lag aside, 518 is still a hell more accurate and reponsive when patched to 1000hz which it does in fact reach as apposed to 510s

LMAO!!! Check out Team OMG in TWL and Cz8 in CAL. I believe our Team Spotlight by the league is still posted.

Playing Online and not on a LAN, I'm fine with a 500hz with my garbage G7. Though if it makes you happy, I will be moving to a G5 rev2 in the future. k thx lamer

G5 Rev. 2 FTW. Just got one and its amazingly awesome! I LOVE the texture and feel of the mouse. Not sure what other mice are like that, but this one has a "gritty" texture that feels great! Also, the mouse cord has some sweet kind of "covering" not sure how to describe that but it is amazing at making the cord virtually disappear from having any effect on mouse movement. All that along with the high DPI thats changable on the fly...wow. Highly recommend this mouse!

BTW, picked up a Saitek Eclipse 2 at the same time. Also extremely satisfied with that purchase (although admittedly the 2 items were rather costly for what they are). I have NEVER had a keyboard that typed so precisely. It has a great feel to it. Just like the mouse. My $0.02!

PS, both are wired. I had wireless before but it was getting extremely frustrating when it would miss key presses, lag, and just generally not perform to my gaming standards.

I've got a Saitek Eclipse 2 and Death adder at the moment and couldn't be happier. I sold my G7 because there was way too much lag (some kind of interference)
