Looking for a good Steering wheel...

I am looking for a good solid steering wheel for a hardcore sim racer 🙂 I need website URL's so I can weigh my options. I have a Thrustmaster, so no need for that recommendation 😉

I mainly play F1-2002, and I want to buy a new wheel for MS's Rally Sport Challenge.

(this is ON topic, as it is a hardware question)

Thanks

does Act Labs offer a formula 1 style wheel, with suede handle grips, like TSW offers? I couldnt find it on Act Labs' site, only the woodgrain wheel

I currently use a TSW2 Cup, kinda expensive but they're backed up for life. If by some crazy chance a replacement part is ever needed, just call and it's there in 2 or 3 days, seein as this wheel can easily last many many years, it's worth it.

Thomas Superwheel

What the TSW has helped me do 😀

HOLY CRAP!!!! I like driving games as much as anyone, and play them more than any other type of games combined, but that Thomas Super Wheel is just a tad expensive for my blood! $1055!!!!!!!!! Come on now. That's just insane. I'd be willing to pay a couple hundred maybe. You know, around $200-$300, but a grand is ridiculous and way more then it's even worth. I bet they don't spend any more than $100 in production costs. I have to wonder how many of that version they sell. I'd buy their cheaper version though. VERY NICE!!!!!

Get the MOMO Logitech... justdeals.com has it refurbished for $100... my friend got one and it seems to be ok... FRY's has it on sale once in awhile for $150... make sure you get this version... and not the new one that Logitech might be coming out with... which looks like a cheapo version. 😕 It looks like their doing the same thing with their original formula force... and replaced it with the rackety cheap GP one... anyway... i play F1 2002 as well... and GPL... and GP4... the MOMO is great with all of them... i love how the paddles in the back make that click when you shift... and the leather is awesome. 😀 Id get me one of those TSW... can't beat a REAL steering wheel... 😉 but i'm just a poor boy. 😱

If you have to have the best cause you are a "hardcore sim racer", then look no further than the Thomas cause when you wear out your other cheaply made wheel you will be glad you got the Thomas. It does cost a bit, but it's worth it if you really like racing games.

If you just want one of the better wheels without paying alot, then go for one of the Logitech wheels cause I have one and I like it, but I wish I could afford the Thomas cause that is the one I would buy.
