looking for a good solid state audio player

I really want to get the zune 8 gb. i love the interface and the album art displays. Only problem with it is that it doesn't play flacs. I have an Iaudio X5L 30 gb right now i'm about to put up on ebay. im too afraid to take it anywhere. kinda defeats the purpose huh

opinions?

I have the X5L also. My HDD wasn't what died. The joystick died so I bought a remote control but then the battery kept running out.

I got (and just lost last weekend) the Cowon D2. The audio quality is almost as good as the X5L, I'd say about 95%.

Actually since I just lost my D2 I've been looking at reviews and haven't seen anyone which says the audio quality beats a D2. I'll probably end up buying another one.

I have a rockboxed Sansa e200 series and it works very well. With the right theme, it looks very nice too.

I would've said the P2 from Samsung, but you want flac playback. D2 would be the best choice.
