Looking for a good set of in-ear or portable headphones

I'm looking for a set of in-ear or compact headphones that aren't going to be uncomfortable or fall out every five seconds. My price range is $30-100, and I would like something that sounds really good, though I'd prefer not to pay hundreds for top-of-the-line. I'd also prefer something black or silver over white / green / pink / etc. Carrying cases, etc. are always nice.

I'm considering these; I wish I could actually hear each set before buying:

Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

A local computer pundit whose blatherings appear in the Syracuse Post-Standard, has good words to say for the Sentry HO229 headphones that you can pick up at your local Big Lots or Christmas Tree Shop for around $5.00. Personally, I found that they had no high end for me unless I cut off the small nib off the end of the rubber seals - perhaps my ear canals are so narrow that they close off the nib entirely. Unfortunately they are white but you won't be out much if they don't do it for you and you can always use 'em as a stocking stuffer for some non-critical listener (a little Testors model paint can change the color). Amazon has them if you want to see pics and get more info. They only get a 3.5 rating from buyer reviews there, so I guess they are more what I found rather than the "better than sliced bread" that Fasoldt claims. I think he's far too influenced by a low price...

Here is the link to his web site. The articles list is right at the top and it's in the Nov. 30 article: "Cheapskate's Holiday Guide" - http://www.technofileonline.com

I've got a pair of the Bose IE Triport buds, and they're great. $100. I've always been a bit skeptical of Bose, but after reading the comments on the IE tri's over at headfi, I took the plunge.

They're great, and come with three different jelly-ish tips.

I'm getting Triple Fi 10s (and nothing else) this holiday season. These are the first IEMs I've run into that I don't completely hate. (That said, I'm kind of weird about this sort of thing.)

I also have some IM716s - they're not too bad. In fact, I think they're better than my E3Cs - more durable, too. Just remove that !@#$ volume control widget and replace it with some resistors....
