It is cheap, but it does the job. I've owned this one for 6 years or so and it still works fine. I use it every so often for car work.

I got my harbor freight one for $10 plus the 20% off coupon. It's lasted me over 8 years so far, still works fine. I even had the calibration checked at work and it was pretty dam accurate. If it ever breaks, I'll just go grab another.

you do live in fear don't you?

Craftsman torque's are good bang for buck.

I own 3.

A race car driver doesn't go out without placing trust in his mechanics, that they know how to do their job and that they use tools they can rely on. If I'm wrenching on my bike I want to know that I can place trust in the tools I use to do that job.

I've already had the rear wheel off my bike a few times and I've been using a shitty beam type torque wrench to tighten the nut (a much bigger nut than you even).

Besides, I thought this would be a great topic for discussion in teh garage. :p

Edit-Would you like to see a pic of the tires on my bike? I'd like to see you run a motorcycle as hard as I've ridden mine...mrs risk taker.

The Craftsman ones are good as far as the torque wrench part goes, but there are issues with the plastic handle coming loose and rotating and messing up your torque settings since the window in the handle moves. And their torque wrenches are one of the few things that don't have a lifetime warranty.
