Looking for a good LAN file transfer program

I'm going to a LAN party in a couple of days and have been looking around for a reliable way to transfer large files between 5+ machines on a 100Mbps LAN. Sure, I could use Windows File Sharing, but that's a clunky solution ;)

Ideally, I'd like a P2P-type program that everyone runs and "discovers" everyone else. Then, if one person drags a file into the client window, it gets transferred to everyone (or alternately, to selected clients only). BitTorrent-style swarming transfers would be even nicer :D

Does anyone know of a program even remotely similar to this? Any ideas for entirely different solutions?

I'd be very interested to hear any solutions that don't involve FTPs.

I agree, Windows file sharing blows chunks...

I especially love it when you share a folder yet when you try to access it from another computer is says something to the tune of access denied. Windows file sharing is such a joke.

I'd love to find something like this for use just on my small 3 system home LAN. I'm all ears. :)
