I want to get way more familiar with Windows XP Pro. What's a good book, Windows XP Bible or something?

any of the Exam Cram series on MCP XP Pro and for the user side of the OS you can get the study material on the new MCDST Cert..
that pretty much will let you know XP from the Admin and the user point of view..
I used that book along with the Microsoft Official curriculum to get my certs on XP pro

I used the exam cram series book to get my cert for XP; but dont know that it would be the best book for someone just looking to get more familer with it.

I dont know what your expirience level is Kaido, but if its in the beginner to intermediate range I would suggest you just start with "Windows XP for Dummies".

Do you just want to know how to do general tasks or advanced stuff like scripting?

advanced stuff like scripting. I'm familiar with basic operations, installing, settings, etc etc. I guess I'd be a beginner power user...I know how to use it really well but I don't know scripting or registry stuff.
