I had ordered a PC from cyberpower, and to no surprise, it basically arrived DOA. I returned it for a refund, and once I get it, I'll build my own PC. I cannot find the right case, though!

the case for my cyberpower pc was a Cosmos S. It was gorgeous. I want that case again, but the problem was, the PCI slots would not line up correctly with my video cards, (two GTX 260's) causing them to not be recognized.

So I'm looking for a new case.

I need a case that looks incredible like the Cosmos S, and has at least SEVEN 5.25 drive bays. I'd prefer one without a door, and the PSU on the bottom.

Can anyone help me out here??

yes. I was looking at the twelve hundred. I just hope it looks as cool as everyone says it does. So far it has everything I need but the looks.

It looks amazing, like, just plain sexy, but you have to clean the fan filters regularly(2-3 weeks) to maintain the black look.

I think that there might be a couple of high-end Lian Li models that might fit the bill.... but anything by Antec will be a much better value, I imagine, unless you can find a good deal on the Lian Lis.

Why exactly did they not align? this is a standard atx, if it didn't align either the installer was doing something wrong or the case was flawed, dropped, mis-machined, whatever. ATX is atx is atx, period.

it must have been misaligned, or damaged in shipping. could have been the mobo, idk. the first card would recognize, the second would not. I would need to press it upward in order for it to be recognized.

No doubt. If you liked the case that much go ahead and get one. most companies would accept a return if it isn't right.

The Cosmos is one of the sexiest cases ever, the Fry's I go to had one on demo and geeks were stopping in their tracks to look at it, touch it and just mess with it. I find the original Cosmos to be much nicer looking. But the S is still worlds better looking than the 1200. The Silverstone TJ-07 is the only case I think that even comes close to the Cosmos. If you haven't seen the Cosmos in person and live by a Frys GO NOW! It's a thing of beauty :)

I'm not trying to recommend anything made by Coolermaster, but there seems to be some decent deals to be had here...decent meaning cheaper than retail.
As far as shipping charges go, I have no idea.

Hvae you looked at the CM stacker 830? great case i am in process of modding it. It does have a door but its on the inside of the side panel. the door supports 4x 120mm or 4x 140mm fans. The door can also be removed if you dont want it. The mesh on both side panels can be removed and you can adda window if you like. granted you have make a window yourself or order a side panel with a window from performance-pcs.com for $100. Im in the process of painting the interios chassis and making the side window. the case with the side fan door supports up to 10x 120mm fans! Anyway, its solidly built...i love it!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/...escription=stacker+830

you can also buy the stacker 830 on newegg.com with many different paint schemes...though they are about $200 more. Hope this helped!

it seems as though you can buy a stacker 830 with a window on the above posted website. Pretty cheap too. you can also get the stacker 830 with a 1000W psu...thats what i got.

P182 Special Edition
http://www.ncix.com/products/i...anufacture=Antec%20Inc
-edit- Canadian price, go to the american section for USD price)

Stainless steel front and side panels polished to a mirror finish, black interior, double hinged magnetic front door panel that can swing open and flush to the side panel, designed for sound dampening, includes easy to clean dust collectors and can fit 4 case fans (2 front, one rear, one top).

Only thing I recommend is replacing the stock 120mm case fans for quieter ones (look for the right ones now). Downside is it weighs 36 pounds empty and has some air flow issues (which can easily be fixed by removing the two front noise dampening panels for the 120mm fans).

I have to add my praise to the Cosmos cases. I absolutely LOVE mine and will probably be keeping that case for quite some time. Had it for the past 2 years. Zero problems with cooling and installation.

If I were to get another case or build a PC for a friend and they didn't have the Cosmos for sale, I'd consider getting the Coolermaster HAF 932 for $160.

I would throw in tha new Zalman GS1000.

Cosmos is awesome and if you don't build with it again I would look at this one.

I really like mine and there is a lot space and I think it met most of your criteria.

My 2 cents.
