Looking for a free CMS sort of deal...

We currently have a server on our network where users can store project-related files in a common area. Users would like to be able to send links to those files around to other users, but the links get broken because there are spaces in the file path (just copy and paste, you say? tell me something I don't know). So we're looking for a web-based solution to run on our intranet, strong preference for ASP.NET-based.

Ideally we'd like something that works right off the existing directory structure of the server so we could just set it up and have something like this, but with upload capability.

I know Microsoft Sharepoint which comes with Windows Server, can do this. I think dotnetnuke www.dotnetnuke.com can do it too.

Sharepoint was the first thing that came to mind, but it doesn't seem like it'd be worth it to spend $5000 for the server plus $70/CAL so people don't have to copy and paste the file path from Outlook to IE. 🙂 I'll check out dotnetnuke.
