Hey guys thanks for stopping by!
I've never overclocked a CPU before and plan on doing so within in the next week. I've read a decent amount on the subject and so I have a OK understanding of what I'm getting into.

My spec is currently:

i5-2500k 3.3ghz evo 212 CM cooler
gtx 770
cx600 corsair ps
8gb 1333

How far up the ghz scale do you recon I can get with my 212 evo cooler?
What kind of temps. should I be seeing or should be aiming for?

Also...

Two motherboards that I'm currently looking at:
ASRock Z77 Extreme4
and
ASUS P8Z77-V LK
Which do you guys think I should get, or should I get a different board around that price range?

Feel free to ask for any additional info!

OH I ALMOST FORGOT!!
Can anyone recommend to me a website, page, forum that shows how to OC my specific CPU that is up to date? I've seen a few but don't know who to trust

Get the Asus mobo. Much better quality. I, too, have an i5 2500K that runs 24/7 at 4.5GHz using only 1.32v at load. Don't go for 5GHz because you'll have to use 1.50v and will damage your CPU sooner rather than later. PM me and I will guide you thru the process.

Hmmm, ya see, I would go for the ASrock board....ASUS can be fussy with settings and memory.
