my sister is looking for a external hard drive enclosure, prefer usb. what are some of the best ones with low price? please help out

Newegg has a Bytecc external enclosure on sale for $30 - linkage

I ordered it the other day, should be here tomorrow. Nice price, has good reviews, and can hold either a 3.5" hard drive or a 5.25" optical drive. It's USB 2.0.

This is only about the 300th thread on this topic in the last couple of months... Sheesh don't you folks know how to use the search features of the ATF?

That enclosure is ok. Frankly i dont even know what the difference is between all of them. I did have an IOgear enclosure that went bad within a year. They fixed it for me but when it came back it was missing parts and had scratches everywhere. :frown:

To partition the HD without 3rd party software check here.
