I'm looking for a nice dual Pentium III PPGA Motherboard, but have some odd requirements. I would like either integrated U160 SCSI, or a 64 Bit PCI slot. I also do not want integrated video. I also do not want to spend a fortune.

By definition, if you wanted 64-bit PCI support, you are going to have to pay a lot more for it due to chipset support.

Off the top of my head, I can suggest the ASUS CUR-DLS, but prices for such a board are very high, and it has integrated video.

Is there any reason in particular why you would NEED 64-bit PCI?

I didn't even know Asus made Serverworks boards, but here's what I always loved:

Tyan

Supermicro

Go for a serverworks based board if you want something real, but the IDE controllers are only meant for CDROM's, that's why you see built in U160 SCSI or even IDE RAID. The HEsl chipset is cool, Anand did a review not too long ago..

Yeah, if you're going to use a ServerWorks board and IDE
storage, your best bet is to use a UDMA66 or UDMA100 PCI card to
hang the drives off...

Oh, and the Serverworks boards mostly do not have AGP support.
(There's only one that supports AGP, I think).

If you deal with those limitations, and the Serverworks high
price, then it's a good board!

I agree that the CUV4X-DLS is a good board, but I have seen a few less than satisfied reviews of the board.

I think it is mostly due to teething troubles....the board has gone through about 4 BIOS updates within a week.

Bangsailio - No, it's not. The naming scheme is as follows for ASUS' boards.

S - Onboard SCSI controller
L - Onboard Ethernet controller
D - Dual CPUs
