I'm doing a project on some communties in this area but have been unable to locate a detailed map online....I have tried google and a number of other search engines but nothing seems to come up....

anyone have any other sugguestion as to where to look?

where in the triad do you live?
I live in Greensboro
(I assume that when you say triangle NC in your profile you are talking about the triad as opposed to research triangle park or a town called triangle...)

Can you get access to MS "Streets & Trips" program? - there is an excellent and detailed map there.

You might try the Automobile Club, I believe they have some nice online trip-planning maps.

You might also try calling the nearest US Geological Survey office. Not sure if they will provide a map but they might tell you where to look.

Edit: The geosciences department of a college would also be a good place if you have one nearby.

I personally live in Raleigh (triangle= Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh)...

Robeson county is one of the most diversified counties in NC and also suffers from the less desirable aspects (crime, drugs, unemployment)....It is also home to the largest American Indian tribe east of the Miss. River (they are not federally recognized)......

thks for the tips
