Looking for a deal on a CD/radio mini boombox (please)

Minor task for the AT-challenged: I'm trying to come up with a decent CD/radio to wrap up my Christmas shopping for the kids. Prefer one of the 'mini' sized ones, $30 or so. But so far I haven't found any in that range, most have been jacked up to $40 or more (at least until after Christmas). Any suggestions?

yeah, 30 smackers will only get you something really simple.
but then, I seem to remember Target have Koss MP3 boombox for cheap, around $49 or less I think.

This is for a 5 year old boy. I've seen 'Hello Kitty', 'Barbie', etc., but no similar versions for boys. I'm not going to spend $70 though, just looking for something inexpensive.

tough choices here. never seen one for boys too.
still, stroll arond Target or Wally boombox section or even toys area.
they might have something similar (boombox/toy combo?)

A while back I got a CD/radio mini boombox for my desk at work for about $30-$40 from Wherehouse music. I don't know if they have them there, but it may be a start on where to look for one. They actually had a few of them for that cheap.

check your local kmart. I'm not sure how good of a unit you're going to get for $30, i'd suggest upping it to $50.
